so lately I've been busy with kuliah shiz.. yes I admit it. I WAS BUSY !
To be completely honest, Univ. life are more dynamic than high school or other time that I've encountered. I will stay in touch and write more if i have free times but right now i'm kinda in a busy mode so yeah..maybe after I finished all my exams and other specific duties.
recently i was trying to wrote for Indonesia in one of the biggest event in the Asia Pacific region. without a doubt, my writings will definitely made it thru the selection because my English sucks and ofc I had to compete with other smarties all across Pacific. But i still had a great time writing with the Challenges that UNICEF gave for Indonesia and it was really cool that each country had its own specific challenges and exciting situational problems that we as young generation need to overcome. so ..the point of this challenge is to help children all across Indonesia.

| Challenge Statement | |
| Health care is a fundamental right that must be met in community health development in order to improve the quality of life among Indonesian people. It should be seen as an investment to improve the quality of human resources and support economic development, as well as having an important role in poverty reduction efforts. Indonesian government along with its health departments are trying their best to ensure the life quality of its people. It’s shown by their never-ending dedication to overcoming this particular problem by increasing free-health services, adding more health facilities and new policies on behalf of healthcare quality improvement. Despite all the effort the Indonesian government has made, within every community that present, there are still some who insist to deny the importance of the national health program. This is the main problem as a community and as a whole member of the nation will have to overcome. Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world, From the vast land filled with its richness lies thousands of ethnic and cultural diversity, making this great nation full of wonders. Within its diversity there are some boundaries exist that limits the effectiveness for some programs run by the central government. In this case, these boundaries such as language, education, culture and customs could possibly limit the basic knowledge of free healthcare in which is urged by the government. One-third of Indonesian population still struggling to fully understand the importance of this program. This problem ranging from the limitation of understanding this program to the ignorance that left the effort from Indonesian government remain uncertain. The main problem that we still face as a nation are still the same as before, which is inadequate education for the minorities. How can we get any feedback and opinions regarding the quality of health services, when within its people, they did not see the importance of this program. This is critical because it served as a chain reaction of that needs to be broken. One’s will ignore the importance of this program and count on traditional medication method. Soon enough their children will walk the same path of ignorance which leads to be forever moral enslavement. This is important for its particular society especially for women and their young ones. As the nation’s future, every child must be socialized with strong and comprehensive knowledge about the crucial outcome of this program. | |

| Health Educational Volunteer Program (HEVP) What is it? Health Educational Volunteer Program (HEVP) is a volunteered program in which is engaged in national community service that helps minor community from remote places all across Indonesia. The main goal is to educate and introduce ideal healthy life standard to promote fully understanding of the importance of the national health program. This program focuses on helping Indonesian government to involve minority communities in participating the national health program in order to promote the general welfare and cultivate the nation. What’s Special? HEVP is non-profit, volunteered based movement that that utilize every aspect of social movement such as, the nation’s health department as well as variety of communities and social clubs to fully devote for achieving common interest. There is also the International Volunteer Program in which volunteers from different kind of nationality are welcome to join and help promote nation’s general welfare by educating and training minorities to meet its national standards. The program will be started by introducing and educating the volunteers in variety of seminars and workshops for a month long before heading to the actual, untouchable remote places. Volunteers will be taught a great deal of knowledge and skill-set ranging from raw knowledge from the basic health education to the soft skills of customs and cultures that are present within a particular community. This program is perfect for International community that seeks adventure and experience. Within this program, both national and international volunteers will be able to truly experienced the richness of Indonesian cultures and yet still give something noble in return. The actual program will then continue by assigning volunteers in groups on which they will be educating the assigned communities in different corner of the country. Within this group present several mentors, which they are a part of that particular community, that serves as committee and advisers to guide the volunteers. The volunteer will be staying with a particular family in one of the resident’s house and do its regular routine with them. Explicitly the volunteer’s daily routines are expected to be a role models for them to fully understand the healthy living standard that are shown. The actual teaching will be held in the form such as Sunday school, community gathering or even annual traditional ceremony. The main focus of the teaching is for everyone that are present within the community. The approach of the teaching is slowly but sure because one’s particular community are really sensitive to changes, that’s why in order to fully educated them requires patience and trust among the volunteers and the community itself. The Outcome From achieving the adequate of health education and the basic knowledge regarding the soul purpose of the nation, soon the volunteers and the community are hoped to establish health services under the government supervision. This health services are in the form of outpost office that monitors quality of life among its regional community and accommodate aspiration and feedback that are suggested by the community. Free health clinic which is aligned with central government programs and the improvement of living standard among the remote communities. Annual seminar and socialization will be held in every community to educate and exchange ideas. Hopes and Dreams. I strongly believe the lack of educational standard led to the emerge of poverty and social instability. In this stage, ignorance is the reason that led many health systems failed. With HEVP program, we as humanity could save long cycle of poverty by educating and promoting national program to ensure the improvement quality of life in order to advance Indonesia’s general welfare. This program serves as container for not only for women and children but also for the remote-communities that are struggling to channel their feedback and opinions from the corner of the nation. The success of this program are crucial for the government to monitors the nationwide health quality and easier implementation on its health policies. Everyone across Indonesia: rich, poor, old, young urban to remote places; everyone’s voices could be heard and easily managed by the help of HEVP regional health offices. Women, children and families now could easily get their adequate healthcare that they had been struggling to get and the presence of the basic knowledge to erase moral enslavement forever. In conclusion, by educating every community that lies within this nation, could be the key to resolve the failure of many health systems and overcome the challenges. Also the existence of decentralization method on governing public aspiration and applying health policies could be the answer to help families from different corner of Indonesia to get their voices heard regarding on health services that they received. | |
| Identification of Potential Mentors | |
| HEVP is a program that intended for both governmental and non-government body that are present within this nation. With all the social instability and the high rate of corruption possessed in Indonesia, I still have faith that government institutions could work together side by side to expunge moral enslavement that bind the nation’s future generation. I would also call all of the community social services that want to devote to their country to educate and help children and families all across Indonesia get their voice heard. If my program is supported, I will start with the health and social department itself to sponsor and create working draft for the upcoming programs. For the social service community that spreads all across Indonesia, I will start inviting variety college communities and other nation’s non-profit oriented communities that want to participate on volunteering. The approach for both of these institutions are by explaining the sole purpose of this program by persuading that what we do together is for the same noble purpose. For the international program there are a lot of advantage for both international volunteers and Indonesia itself. With the help of AEC, volunteers from ASEAN countries could easily participate and experience one in a lifetime noble journey. For the nation itself it helps to improve services to the community, sponsorship from international communities, great deal of cultural exchange and strengthen bonds within ASEAN countries. | |
